Group Fitness (20 hours)

Course Objectives



Students will learn the evolution; principles; and delivery skills of group fitness. By the end of this course, students will have the knowledge of the safety skills required to execute a class as well as the knowledge of different formats for lesson plan development. The focus of the course will be the core components in a group workout program of warm-up, cardio, resistance and flexibility. Upon completion of this course students will complete their BCRPA Group Fitness Instructor Competency Evaluation (ICE) and become BCRPA Registered Group Fitness Instructors.
